William Albanese Sr. has a BFA and Master's Equivalent in art education from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Mr. Albanese taught in the Baltimore County School System for Thirty-one years. He is now retired and painting full-time. Mr. Albanese has exhibited in the Dead End Saloon (Fells Point Balto.), Worthington Gallery (Bulter Md.), Gallery Thirty (Gettysburg Pa.), and the York Art Association (York  Pa.). He exhibits in both group and solo shows selling works through exhibits and private commissions. Mr Albanese's favorite artists are Frans Hals and Jan Vermeer. He prefers the Flemish Medium which enables him to use glazes similar to the old masters.

* First Place Award  (He was awarded one of the five Rottler Awards for Excellence in the Visual Arts. The annual Selection Exhibit was held at the York Art Association  2007)
